The plat (PLAT-24-16) includes a new public street off Farmingdale Lane with sidewalk on one side, new public water service, and about 800 feet of asphalt trail in an existing trail easement. The Commission approved variances to Subdivision Ordinance sections 5-303 and 5-500, so the new street and the trail do not have to be extended to the adjoining property. The Comprehensive Plan designates the area Very Low Density Residential/Agricultural. Preliminary plats are decided by the Planning Commission.
