New Business Building (Global Business and Analytics Complex)
Virginia Tech is building a four-story, approximately 92,300-square-foot academic building for the Pamplin College of Business at the corner of Prices Fork Road and West Campus Drive, connected to the Data and Decision Sciences Building. The Board of Visitors authorized construction on March 25, 2025 with a $94 million budget. Construction began in fall 2025 on the former Undergraduate Science Laboratory Building parking lot, with completion targeted for fall 2027.

The details.
It is the second academic building in the Global Business and Analytics Complex and completes Pamplin's relocation there. Funding is $47 million of nongeneral fund resources including private gifts and $47 million of debt serviced by college revenues. The Division of Facilities lists Kjellstrom+Lee as construction manager and Moseley Architects as architect. Starting Oct. 17, 2025, the Undergraduate Science Laboratory parking lot along West Campus Drive and Prices Fork Road closed permanently for construction and the north side of Science Lane closed to pedestrians; the university pointed drivers to the Perry Street Parking Garage, the Data and Decision Sciences Building lot and the North End Center Garage.
