Haymarket Square is one of the five neighborhoods of Hethwood, the master-planned community HHHunt began in 1971 on 316 wooded acres west of campus. Its townhomes were built in the 1970s, in the community's first decade.
Its courts, Cambridge, Wellesley, Chelsea, Newton and Quincy, share their names with cities and towns around Boston. Like the rest of Hethwood, Haymarket Square has access to the community's trails, pool, tennis courts and playgrounds.
A short distance southeast stands Whitethorne, the Preston family farmhouse of about 1855. The Heth family, who bought that farm in 1889, share their name with Hethwood.
